Here's a little bit about how we go about the breeding process. We embark all of our adults. A few are carriers so we make sure to not breed anyone to a fellow carrier. Once mommas are about 2 weeks from whelping we get them use to there whelping area so they can start nesting and get comfortable with their new sleeping area. I try to be present for every birth as to help clean and inspect each pup. From that point we handle the pups on a daily getting them familiar with our smell. Only for a few minutes though I don't want to stress them. We do our own tails and dewclaws and all vaccines and worming which I purchase from Revival Animal Health. I groom them at 6 weeks and do a vet check to make sure we are clear from any health issues. Our pups stay in a whelping room which has ac and heat. It has doggy doors which they learn around 6 weeks that leads to a deck. We play with the pups several times a day getting them all out and letting them run around together and play with us and other litters. They do have plenty of room in there whelping pens though especially once they learn the doggy door. Moms get wheened around 6-7 weeks and pups are usually ready to go at 8 weeks. I do hold onto pups for a few weeks if need be as most my buyers have crazy schedules. Most of my buyers come pick up at my house but I will meet up to an hour away from my home in certain circumstances. I don't deliver but I do have a ground transporter.
